GPSN Griffith recently hosted a successful Neuro Skills Night in partnership with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), giving medical students the opportunity to strengthen their neurological examination skills through hands-on learning.
Held earlier this month, the workshop attracted more than 50 medical students, who took part in practical sessions designed to build confidence and competence in performing neurological examinations. The event aimed to support students as they prepare for upcoming clinical placements and assessments.
In addition to the practical training, representatives from the RACGP delivered an informative session outlining the pathway to becoming a general practitioner. The presentation provided students with valuable insight into GP training and the diverse career opportunities available in general practice.
