Calling all GPSN Clubs — it’s time to bring your best O-Week energy! Show us how you welcome new medical students and compete for prizes in our GPSN O-Week Club Challenge.
How you can win
Clubs will be judged across three categories:
- Best looking stand – creativity, branding and overall impact
- Best article – the most helpful, inspiring, or insightful advice for medical students/future GPs
- Most new GPSN member sign-ups during O-Week – measured via the official GPSN sign-up link (gpsn.org.au/join)
Judging
Entries will be judged by the GPRA President and GPSN National Chair. Their decision will be final.
What you need to submit
To enter, please send us:
- Photos of your O-week stand or activities
- One short article (up to 300 words) from a club member(s) with tips and advice for medical students aspiring to become a GP
Your article might include:
- Practical tips for getting the most out of medical school
- Something you’ve learned that you wish you knew earlier
- Advice on balancing study, wellbeing, work, and getting involved
- How GPSN helped you feel connected, supported, or confident about a GP pathway.
Think of it as a friendly, helpful article from your club to the next cohort, sharing what you’ve learned along the way.

When are winners decided?
Submissions close on 1 March 2026. Judging will take place shortly after, with winners announced in the first GPSN eNews of the year (March 2026).
