On 1 May 2021, NSW/ACT GPSN ran their second GPSN First Steps since their inaugural event in 2019. Medical students across the state gathered to learn about the GP career pathways and had their questions answered by our sponsors GPRA, GP Synergy, RACGP and ACRRM.
This was followed by presentations from GPRA President, Dr Antony Bolton, GPSN National Chair Alex Zheng and RACGP Dr. Rahul Mohan who shared their personal experiences. Our delegates especially enjoyed the workshops which were focussed on clinical skills commonly used in the GP setting, including skills in suturing, ophthalmoscope, otoscope and vital sign measurements.
